Please!
This is Pete. He was delivered to our home six years ago by none other than Santa Claus after my daughter asked for a black puppy. She has faithfully taken care of him since that day making sure that he is fed and watered. He has become my loyal walking partner, and there have been many times when he has motivated me to keep going and kept me at the pace I needed to be for good exercise. Needless to say we aren't doing much walking in these bitter temperatures, but he loves a good snowbank to dive into. He was frolicking in the snow last week while I was helping the kids with their homework and every once in a while he would stop on the deck and peer in with this face. I grabbed my camera and snapped this shot and quickly showed it to Doop and Lou. I told them I thought the look on his face said, "Please put your camera down and come outside to play in the snow!" Doop said I was totally wrong. He said that his face said, "I think your camera smells like beef jerky. Mmm!" Leave it to him to come up with a funny but fitting translation. I love the things that come out of his mouth. Well, most of the time anyway.

Such a sweet face! I could kiss that doggy face! Leave it to boys to come up with a silly thing like the camera smelling like beef jerky. ;-)
