On the day after Thanksgiving we loaded up everything warm, good food, and some firewood and headed into the mountains for our annual Christmas tree hunt. It was a beautiful day on the mountain and the sixty degree weather made us linger as long as possible. We trekked around in the snow until we found the perfect tree. We drug it down the mountainside to the truck where we had a small time out from the fun for lunch, and then we grabbed the sleds and headed back to the slopes. The hooligans were thrilled to find the perfect hill and they slid around until they were completely soaked and exhausted. We stayed warm next to the fire while we watched all of the fun. This has always been one of my favorite traditions, but this year was the best time ever.
